Each dragon is created uniquely by their creator. Each dragon is to bear either a necklace, or an arm band that is created by the He'baku's (healers) these necklaces and arm bands will bear the crest of your dragon's family. You may create a unique crest for your dragon, and also each crest must have a special meaning. Ex. Crest of Strength, Vitality, Endurance etc.
Also, special markings appear on all Kontaru's/Kontara's and He'baka's/He'baku's.
Kontaru's/Kontara's will bear a special mark of leadership that is different for every tribe and is placed anywhere on the dragon's body.
ScaleWind: ScaleWind leaders will bear a silver colored swirl (to represent the wind) and will be dotted with four-eight stars. (eight if there is one swirl, four if there is two)
WaterHorn: WaterHorn leaders will bear a water drop mark that is generally blue in color. Within the drop are eight gold stars to represent the lives of the leader.
DarkClaw: DarkClaw leaders will bear three claw marks as their leader marking. On black or very dark colored dragons, the markings will be a deep purple. On lighter colored dragons they will be a black color. The eight stars of the leader will be placed near the marking.
LightningWhisker: The mark of LightningWhisker will be a simple and classic yellow or gold lightning bolt. Again, the stars will be placed nearby the mark.
He'bakus: All He'bakus will bear the same marking. A crescent moon anywhere along their body with four stars.
