A rough beginning. A near disaster. An uncertain future. Hope lies on fragile wings.
You think you know Pern? Let’s go back to the beginning. The very beginning. It is barely a generation after Landing. The Pernese colonists are struggling to survive and are just beginning to once again prosper. The traditions and legends of the future are being forged today. New Weyrs are being opened. Holds are just being settled. There is desperate need of riders, farmers, miners, support staff, and Candidates.
Come to Telgar. The Weyr has just been opened and settled. The first Mating Flight has yet to occur and the rank of Weyrwoman and Weyrleader has yet to be determined among the golds and bronzes. A council of Wingleaders and Goldriders rule jointly. New riders are arriving every day as the Weyr slowly starts to take on its new duties.
We are a foundation site with plenty of room for all types of characters and chances for rank. There are plenty of adoptable riders, craftsmen, and holders (both ranking and non-ranking) and the opportunity to forge your own future. There are no traditions. There are no boundaries. It is a world just beginning to settle into routine.
Will you be a courageous dragonrider? A hopeful Candidate? A striving Craftsman? A determined settler?

We need:
-Riders of every color, from Gold to Green. (Golds will have trial periods.)
-Candidates of every shape and size, we'll soon begin Searching for Telgar Weyr's very first clutch.
- Craftsman and Craftswoman from all skill sets.
-Wherhandlers, settlers, and Weyrfolk. Basically the people that make Weyr life livable.
-Lots of important positions are still open: We need a Headwoman, Goldriders, Wingleaders, Wingseconds, a Weyrling Master, Lord Holders, and Heads of Crafts in every field.
