In the land of Alderan, there are many herbs that help heal sick and wounded dragons. It is the job of the He'Baka(u) to gather the herbs and use them to their advantage.
Here is a list of herbs on what herbs helps with what:
COLDS
Catnip, Fever, Borage, Marigold, Wild poppy, Honey, Juniper, Tansy, Willow tree.
BLEEDING
Elm leaves, Cobwebs.
INFECTION
Echinacia, Burdock, Alder, Marigold, Yarrow, Wild Garlic.
SORE
Deathberry, dock.
BONES
Comfrey, tansy.
STRENGTH
Chamomile, Wild poppy.
EYES
Celadine, Willow tree.
CONGESTION (stomach)
Catnip, Juniper, Watermint, Willow tree, Yarrow, Chervil.
SLEEP
Bramble twigs, Wild poppy, Thyme.
POISONED
Ash, juniper, yew.
SKIN (swelling, burning, ect.)

HERBS GLOSSERY (alphabetical order)
ALDER, reduces swelling and prevents infection when chewed and applied to a wound. May also be chewed by an animal with a toothache to reduce pain, swelling, and aid in preventing complications.
ALFALFA, used to prevent tooth decay.
ALOE VERA, use this gel inside of leaves to cure skin problems or burns.
ASH (type of tree), new shoots are to be eaten, chewed and applied to the bite of a snake to stave off the effects of its poisoned bite. SEEDS may be eaten to fight the pain of a stitch in the side.
BRAMBLE TWIGS, chewed into a fine syrup, it helps one sleep.
BURDOCK, leaves may be chewed and applied to wounds that are clear of infection to speed healing. ROOTS may be chewed and applied to a wound to draw infection from it.
CATNIP, leaves and flowers are used to relieve congestion and coughs.
CELADINE, used to strengthen weak eyes.
CHAMOMILE, leaves and flowers are consumed to sooth the animal and to add to their physical strength.
COBWEBS gathered onto wounds to stop bleeding.
COMFREY, consumed for healing broken bones.
DOCK, chewed and applied, will soothe and relieve pain of scratches.
ECHINACIA, used to ease infection.
ELM LEAVES put upon wounds to stop bleeding, for the sticky substance helps.
FEVER, leaves can be used to reduce fever, in additian to being consumed to aid against colds and stomach ailments.
HONEY, soothes the throat. Great for smoke inhalnation.
JUNIPER, berries ease the stomach and serve as a counter for poison. Leaves ease coughs and other respritory problems.
LAVENDER, leaves and flowers are good when eaten for easing pains in head and throat.
MARIGOLD, leaves and flowers consumed will relieve chills. Leaves and petals can be chewed and placed on wounds for infection.
MOUSEBILE, bile from the liver of the common mouse may be used to kill fleas and ticks.
WILD POPPY, seeds can be consumed to remove pain and aid is sleep. Flower heads should be consumed together to relive continuous coughs. Petals and leaves should be chewed to aid in sleep and improve resting.
TANSY, leaves, flowers, and stems should be eaten together to remove worms. Leaves may be chewed to relive joint aches. Flowers should be consumed to remove coughs. Pregnant Queens should NEVER be given Tansy, for it causes miscarriages.
THYME, consumed for calming an anxious animal, or to bring the restless some sleep.
WATERMINT, cures bellyaches.
WILD GARLIC, an animal that rolls in a patch of wild garlic will help prevent infections to wounds.
WILLOW TREE, water from beneath the bark of the flowering willow may be dripped into the eyes to help clear blurriness of vision. It may also be applied to dry patches of skin to sooth itches. Small amounts of Willow Bark may be consumed to ease pain, act against inflammation, and to ease diarrhea or fevers.
YARROW, to induce vomiting when consumed (if you've eaten something bad). Chewed and applied to wounds will relieve pain and ward off infection.
YEW, will make one vomit up poisons.
